My friend who is helping me make this blog chose these pictures and is making me post about them. So let's take a trip down memory lane...Once upon a time there was a boy who came from Utah to spend a summer in Oregon. He had plans to keep very busy - working as an intern for Intel, finishing his brother's basement, getting to know his brother's family, with whom he was living. But as fate would have it, (or as his sister-in-law would have it) he met a girl - an Oregonian, no less - who would change the course of his life.
This girl was fun-loving, smart, adventurous, and very non-committal. However, the Utahn persisted and eventually won over the Oregonian.
After enduring a semester of long-distance dating, mononucleosis, and cold feet, they married for time and all eternity in the Portland, Oregon Temple. And they were happy...
and they still are...two beautiful, wonderful, crazy kids later!
